Welcome to OneLife Ministries. This site is designed to lead you prayerfully into a heart experience of Divine Presence, Who is Love. While it focuses on Christian teaching, the writer hopes persons of other faiths find inspiration here. Indeed, "God" can be whatever image helps you trust in the Sacred, by whatever means Grace touches you. Please share this ministry with others, and I hope you return soon. There is a new offering daily.

OPENING PRAYER
Most gracious Christ, your love draws us to You. We were unclean, our hearts disordered; we were not able to be near You. But You, our Beloved, are the Joy of our healing, and share your bread with us as Your friends. So give us drink of Your blood, and give us food of Your flesh, that We may live in You and You in us; and that we, with all creatures, may one day enjoy a new heavens and new earth. Amen.

LISTENING TO THE SCRIPTURE
9 Then Jesus told this story to some who had great confidence in their own righteousness and scorned everyone else: 10 “Two men went to the Temple to pray. One was a Pharisee, and the other was a despised tax collector. 11 The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed this prayer: ‘I thank you, God, that I am not a sinner like everyone else. For I don’t cheat, I don’t sin, and I don’t commit adultery. I’m certainly not like that tax collector! 12 I fast twice a week, and I give you a tenth of my income.’
13 “But the tax collector stood at a distance and dared not even lift his eyes to heaven as he prayed. Instead, he beat his chest in sorrow, saying, ‘O God, be merciful to me, for I am a sinner.’ 14 I tell you, this sinner, not the Pharisee, returned home justified before God. For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”

The Indian farmers did not understand this. To them, there was no shortage of cows in India - and, so, plenty of cow dung. Also, dung from Indian cows would not be harmed by pesticides, they protested.
About one hundred Indian farmers rolled six tons of carts piled high with top-quality, home-born dung to the Parliament. Apparently, the protest worked.
